Cecilia Brein
Bio
I was born in Buenos Aires in 1966. Since 2004 I live in Neuquén.
After graduating and working as a geologist, I started photography in the late 90s. My first steps in photography were in Fotoclub Argentino where I did analogic photography.
Following a pause in 2015, I resumed studies in digital photography. Since then, I have been with a more intensive participation in various courses, forums and conferences.
Primarily, I am focused on landscape photography, while also exploring portrait and still life photography.
I have participated in several photography group exhibitions in different parts of the country. (Córdoba, Mar del Plata, Neuquén).
Statement
What motivates me to do photography is to capture that enchantment I feel when the ensemble of elements in a natural beauty scene converges into one image, along with the constant challenge of also capturing the story behind each image.
Taking inspiration from quotes by Alexander Liberman, I share the idea of "making a pause", this is, to take a break and observe the details, which are part of conveying the vision. In addiction, for the image to become a reflection of the photographer's creative soul.
