Graciela Naum
Bio
Graciela Naum is an Argentine photographer, born in Córdoba, trained as a museologist but with a consolidated career in fashion design, a field in which she has been a reference for more than 30 years. Throughout her career she has designed and dressed influential women in our country and the world, creating avant-garde, practical and timeless collections that are currently displayed in her stores.
The campaigns of her brand were always made with renowned Argentine and international photographers, from whom she learned to look at light and detail, with the challenge of finding the magic in the everyday.
All that deep knowledge of textures and proportions is now reflected in her photography.
With an intimate, hyper-personal and deeply curious gaze, she turns common objects into an explosion of materialities, intensities and folds that force a second and third look in detail to discover their totality.
Statement
HEALING THE IMPOSSIBLE is an attempt to repair old scars, giving little importance to the stitches and showing an easy and fun way to move on.
Putting the pieces back together, putting yourself back together, different but stronger.
