Diego-Costa-Peuser-Director

Diego Costa Peuser

Diego Costa Peuser is a cultural manager specializing in Latin American art. In this field, he has led numerous initiatives that have fostered a greater and deeper understanding of the region's artistic creation.

Diego Costa Peuser is the director of Arte al Día magazine, founded in 1980 by Jorge Costa Peuser, and considered a leader among specialized media in Ibero-American art. In this role, he has contributed to the recognition of artistic modernity's trends and developments, establishing a unique archive of reviews, interviews, profiles, and news that highlight the exponential growth of the artistic ecosystem in the region and worldwide.

As co-creator and director of influential art fairs in Buenos Aires, Lima, Miami, New York, and London, Diego Costa Peuser has fostered a shift in how these cultural hubs view the nature and historical impact of American artists.

As the driving force behind Pinta Art Weeks, Diego Costa Peuser leads cultural programs in Latin American cities, such as Pinta Sud | ASU (since 2022)—which in 2025 will become Pinta Asunción Art Week—with the mission of strengthening networks between international art and local scenes, while energizing the Ibero-American art market, creating unique opportunities, and contributing to the global recognition of the region's artistic output.

Committed to contemporary challenges with social awareness and responsibility, Diego Costa Peuser was recognized in 2010 as one of the 100 most influential Hispanics in Florida. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the projects he spearheaded provided ongoing support and dissemination through innovative virtual platforms.

His work as an art manager and promoter has been a key factor in the growing appeal of the Ibero-American artistic language. It has crossed borders and energized the market, offering unique opportunities for all sectors and players in the art world. Thus, Pinta's annual programming unfolds across its three annual fairs: Pinta Lima (formerly Pinta PArC), Pinta BAphoto, and Pinta Miami, alongside special programs such as Pinta Asunción Art Week and the editorial Arte al Día.
