Facundo de Zuviría
Bio
Born in 1954, he lives in Buenos Aires and the city is the central theme in his work.
Some of his publications are Estampas Porteñas (1996), Siesta Argentina (2003), Buenos Aires: Coppola + Zuviría (2006), Paraná ra'angá (2013) and Frontalismo (2019). He has twice been awarded the Konex Prize and the Leonardo Prize of the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes. His most recent exhibitions include Fondation Cartier (Paris, 2013 and 2018), America's Society (New York, 2017), Museo Lasar Segall (São Paulo, 2016), Whitechapel Gallery (London, 2015), Museo Amparo (Puebla, Mexico, 2014) and Centro Cultural Kirchner (Buenos Aires, 2019).
His work is part of the collections of the MET, MoMA, Fondation Cartier, Fondation A Stichting, Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, Museo de Arte Moderno, MALBA, among others.
