Martín Köhler
Bio
Born in Buenos Aires, 1975, Martín is a lawyer (UBA), but by choice and vocation he has specialized in advertising photography for more than 25 years. He admits influences: third generation of a family of advertisers and renowned artists like his father Walter Köhler. In 2001 he began his career as an independent advertising photographer, working from the beginning for important clients and recognized advertising agencies and companies in the local environment and since 2008 in the international arena. Awarded at prestigious world festivals, and selected for important and prestigious books such as Lüerzer's. Martín is currently first in the ranking of Argentina and among the first 25 photographers worldwide of this historic world magazine.
Statement
Sus influencias artísticas y creativas son surrealistas, Martín encontró en ese estilo el camino para expresar sus convicciones: “con la fotografía surrealista encontré el camino para develar esa magia flotante que hay en los objetos y en las personas, demostrando que la ficción y lo real conviven silenciosamente”. Su trabajo personal es recientemente representado por OTTO Galería en Buenos Aires, Argentina.
