Jacques Bedel
Bio
Painter, sculptor, designer and architect. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the City of Buenos Aires. In 1968 he obtained a scholarship from the French Government. In 1972 he becomes part of the CAYC group. In 1974 he received a scholarship to study sculpture in London. He took part of 14 biennals (Venice 1986 and 1999) and countless exhibitions in Argentina and abroad. He worked with important artists (Testa, Benedit, Grippo, Marotta among others). In 1975 he won the Gold Medal at the United Nations exhibition and won the São Paulo Biennal in 1977. There are numerous bibliographical references to his work, written by prominent critics from Argentina and the world. His works are part of important private and public collections.
